A new route to get to a new place near an old place.  I've been driving past construction on the Lochside trail for much of this year without really knowing what it was.  Tony had mentioned a new subdivision and crushed rock on the trail.  Well!  Turns out the subdivision is one cul-de-sack.  Technically correct I guess and a house is under construction already.  Plus the trail is repaved and better than before.  Nice.
