Ride: Willows beach and a great view at Turkey Head
Date: April 19
Distance: 16.97
Cyclists: Mike
The warmer and dryer weather is on its way finally. It was supposed to go to +20 today but with the wind out of the north I never took my vest off. And down by the sea it's always cooler. I rode north and then east to Willows beach and then over to the marina at Turkey Head. It was clear enough to see our local strata volcano, Mt. Baker, and many of the peaks of the Cascades in Washington. you can also see the Olympic mountains from that spot. The only thing you can't see from Victoria are Canadian mountains.
