Ride: Lochside to the Airport (over 1000 km)
Date: July 19
Cyclists: Mike & Tony
The six week layoff for my neck to get better pushed back the 1000km mark to quite late in the year. And since I'm targetting shorter rides it might be tough to get over 2000km this year. The short rides, twice a week have been good to my neck. I don't arrive home feeling as beat up and with a stiff neck from longer on the bike.
Today was fun. We were riding out around the airport when a CF18 fighter plane took off right over our heads. So cool! And to top it off, when I got home my house was flown over twice by the Snowbirds. Also cool.
