We tried a variation of last Saturday's ride by parking on the Lochside at the usual spot and heading back south toward the Lochside/Goose intersection.  On the Galloping Goose for a couple of kilometers and then up Interurban Road north.  Lots of cyclists on the route for a while.  There was a mental health ride taking place and green shirted roadies passing us until they all turned off.  We continued to Brentwood Bay and Saanitchton and then turned up East Saanitch Road to the airport.  As we were on the airport path a visiting WW2 Lancaster bomber took off right in front of us.  Very cool.  After a short break on the hill overlooking the airport we headed back via Sidney and Lochside.  Nice ride.
